Update for July 2015:

Brokerage Investment Goal:

  • July Investment contributions were $1092.85
  • YTD Investment contributions are at $7119.88
  • Outlook: Green – everything’s on track.

Roth IRA Investments Goal:

  • July Investments were $500
  • YTD Investments total $3,300
  • Outlook: Green – everything’s on track.

Cash Flow Goal:

  • July was cash flow positive, with $1,485.53 being added to the bank accounts.  This is primarily due to a $3,000 check received by my parents unexpectedly, offset by additional principal contribution to the mortgage of $2,400.
  • YTD is at a positive $1,695.82 net cash flow
  • Outlook: Green.  Since the $3,000 check was unexpected, this helped offset the negative trend I’ve been experiencing the last few months. I believe there will be no chance of coming short on cash flow at year-end.

Additional Mortgage Principal Stretch Goal:

  • July was $2,400
  • YTD is $7,400
  • Outlook: Goal Exceeded!

July 2015 Net Worth Update

Budget Guy Net Worth

As of July 31, 2015, my net worth went up by $7,636.73, to a total of $165,474.99.  A $1,100 contribution to brokerage, additional principal payment to the mortgage of $2,400, a $3,000 check from my parents, and general investment gains all helped.  There weren’t any major expenses for the month, which helped reduce the spending and liabilities side.  The check from my parents was a “gift” for offloading one of their rentals.
