At the end of November, 2016, my net worth went up by about 2 percent to $225,556.23 – an increase of $4,352.91. A stock market rally post-Trump helped the overall market set record gains, and my investment portfolio being mostly US stocks, took part in that rally.  I invested about $1,300 in personal brokerage accounts in the month of November, so I still have about $3,750 to go in December to catch up to my 2016 goal of investing $16,000 (net of investment income).

At the end of October, 2016, my net worth went up by about half of a percent to $221,203.32 – an increase of $983.76. Having a relatively flat stock market was the primary factor, as well as controlling expenses.  I expect over the next month that I will increase my remaining stock market investments to catch up to the 2016 goal amount.  As of this writing, I have to make up a shortage in personal investments of $4,500.

At the end of September, 2016, my net worth went up by 1.73% to $220,219.56 – an increase of $3,746.22.  This was primarily attributed to increases in cash holdings (up 8%).
