Nov 2019 Net Worth Update

It’s been a while since I’ve posted updates. Mostly I forgot to post, but part laziness also interfered. That said, I’ve updated all the missing months in the main Net Worth tracker page, and here’s my summary for Nov 2019.

November net worth set a new record high with the rise in the stock market, resulting in an increase in net worth of about $10,000 from October to end at $454,505.

What’s important is that while overall net worth is only going up 2%, this is still a 5-digit overall increase. The more I invest, the more my net worth goes up, and the more $ changes between months because we’re dealing with much bigger numbers. Looking back at posts from a few years ago, those 2% changes would result in a paltry $4,000 increase – and now we’re talking over $10,000.

Consistency is key, and as long as I keep putting the bulk of my money aside into investments the larger these numbers will get. And I’m sure in a few more years I’ll look back that this post and say “wow, to only make $10,000 when the market goes up 2%”.
