In August, net worth increased for the 4th straight month, mostly due to stock market gains. Net worth went up by 4.93% to end at $544,853, an increase of about $25,500.

In July I hit two financial milestones:

1. Total Brokerage accounts reached $200,000+ in value
2. Total Net Worth reached over $500,000 (a half-million!)

While these are mostly psychological (since I can’t retire with only these amounts) they are huge milestones that I only reached through a consistent investment philosophy and a little help from the market.

In July, net worth continued to increase due to stock market gains amid the pandemic. Net worth went up 4.9% to end the month at $519,258, or up about $24,000.

In June, net worth continued to go up due to stock market gains amid the Coronavirus pandemic, partially over optimism that states are starting to re-open. Net worth went up 2.6% to end the month at $495,019, or up about $13,000. This month’s gains were about half as much as last month, but we are now within sight of the half million dollar mark! Something we haven’t reached since February.
